I'm also finding it interesting to see how many people took it seriously. If I thought chat was really getting taken away, I might've gotten a little bit upset too. Chat has its place in the game. It just gets overused sometimes.

"Silliness aside". SILLINESS ASIDE. You GMs totally fooled me! With the discussions that have been happening lately, I thought it was just a matter of terrible timing on part of the announcement, not that it was actually an April Fool's joke... The announcement was so dead-pan serious!

I was totally ready to just roll with it, too. XD

Now I'm embarrassed. But still glad to see that we can all have discussions about cooking recipes and puns (and be smited [smitten??]) in the future.

I don't think it's so much that as it's ALL OOC communication. I've been watching these threads the last few days and I'm basically noting that it's not so much that it's the OOC communication, but the means for people to get feedback IG.

Frankly, I didn't find this one amusing at all due to a variety of reasons.

If chat and tells were being used for in game feed back only that'd be great. I wouldn't have a problem with that at all, but it is not and that is the reason why I personally would've been for a chat disable, not so much for the tells though.
