Leather Keywords

As it stands, crafting something from leather, opposed to fur, gives no identifier whatsoever. Using leather made from a rabbit pelt will look the same as using leather made from a bison pelt.
Is it possible to have leather retain the keyword of the animal it came from? I don't know if there's a plan to overhaul leatherworking and have it more in line with forging, in which case this would be a rather pointless ask. I have genuinely no clue how much source leather plays into the effectiveness of the finished product in the current state of things. But from an aesthetics prospective, it makes it hard to value any pelt taken from more difficult kills since there's no way to confirm what it's made out of, unless it's fur.
