You get the feeling you haven't a prayer of cracking this lock, so you stop picking.
(You determine this to be a warded lock, its difficulty rated at about 1760.)

You put a sleek steel lockpick into your square black leather locksmith kit.

You remove a master's steel lockpick from the square black leather locksmith kit you are wearing
with your right hand.

Looking at the master's steel lockpick and running a finger along its length, you figure the highest
difficulty lock you could pick with it to be somewhere around 1960.

You continue picking the lock on a rectangular poplar strongbox with your master's steel lockpick.
(You determine this to be a warded lock, its difficulty rated at about 1785.)
You hear a satisfying *click* come from a rectangular poplar strongbox.

You open a rectangular poplar strongbox.

In the rectangular poplar strongbox you see a small pile of riln and a filthy used linen bandage.
There is plenty of room left in the rectangular poplar strongbox.
