What animal do characters remind you of?

Post by Kunren »

Thread is just as the title says, post up what animal a character reminds you of. Can be yours or others. I will start off with a few.

Zuki- Kangaroo

Vunrad- Turtle

Claudin- Wolf

Laroremas- Bear

Vaylon- Snake

Luvela- Cat

Maric- Bulldog

Ardor- Meerkat

Sona- Turtle comes to mind here as well, weirdly. In what way is Sona like vunrad? O.o

Feel free to come up with your own for any characters. Im curious to see what Taric reminds people of, lol.

Sorry, but Zuki is obviously a honey badger. It's in my title.

Also, Taric = porcupine.

True. Or maybe a dead porcupine?

No one dies like Taric!

I'm all right with this. I've been reading a lot of Assassination Classroom, and it's had a subtle influence on much of my RP (not just in CLOK, but in tabletop games as well).

Ahelis: Falcon

Akila: Tiger

Althea: Deer

Ambrose: Praying Mantis

Dakhal: Chameleon

Kent: Eagle

Lae: Wolverine

Levintus: Crow

Maric: Ox

Vidor: Ant

This might turn out weird, but for me :

Taric = boar, not just porquepine but boar itself:d

Maric = lion, I sorta like this style.

Sona = cat, with that crafty little hands, haha.

Liani = Mare, I don't know what makes me think of this one, but it's the only thing I can come up for her.

Acarin = black widow, hard to show up but one of the deadliest.

Kent = bull, especially when in battle.

Vidor = wolf, could be an awesome friend and companion when in need, and also strike fast in both words and blow. Wolves never break the flock, that's the thing.

Kothar = peagion, or whatever you spell it. Usually open the first move by asking to heal people. that's a good thing, isn't it?

And lastly...me, Artus, the lone ranger, I would say Yeti if it was mythical, but for now I'd stick with gorilla, or whatever you spell it again.

I meant no offense! Let me explain...

From what I gather, Vidor aspires to be a model soldier of the Tse Gaiyan, a small but necessary part of a team -- much like a single ant (a "soldier" ant, to be precise), who is also an integral part of a much grander scheme. Ants are mythological symbols of industriousness and ethical living (with respect to being willing to die to protect others). Ants also symbolize strength: though they are tiny, they can carry heavy burdens and drive away enemies much larger than themselves. In these ways, I think Vidor is much like an ant.

Not that he's tiny and easily squished. :P

Alexander - lion (the iconic association of what a lion is: majestic, brave, strong)
Althea - dormouse (industrious, humble, peaceful)
Dakhal - weasel (suave and wily, vicious when the need arises)
Kent - pallas cat (not entirely sure why, but he does remind me of one)
Lars - polar bear (a big, hulking one)
Octavia - panther (graceful, yet very visibly strong)
Solaje - seahorse (enigmatic and delicate)
Tamsin - pudu deer (kind and soft-spoken) (also pudu deer are freakin' adorable.)
Vaylon - ferret (inquisitive, adventurous, and gets into everyone's business)
Vidor - fox (bright, engaging, agile, almost mischievous)
Zeel - rough green snake (quiet, intelligent, mysterious)

Not everyone I know, but those I can envision an animal for at the moment! :) Thanks for letting me procrastinate for a bit. Now it's time to get back to business.

For some reason, I agree to this. Dakhal is something of a weasel.

He's so painfully adorable.

I can totally dig Althea as a deer, I am curious for the reasoning though? I'm mostly curious as to why peoplesee that. But it is fitting I think.

Not sure what I'd call her myself honestly. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Maric s an Ox... I can see that, and Lae a wolverine, yikes!
[[Althea (lying down, pie-splattered, haloed by light, calm, asleep, mesmerized)]]

Maric says, "The worrying thing, is that this cave seems to be safe, haven't seen anything in here."
a fallen dreadnaught arrives via a crack, armor clanking.
Maric says, "I shouldn't speak."

Maric: Stallion
Alexander: Destrier
Althea: Contented cat
Ahelis: Swan
Vaylon: Not a snake.
Liani: Mare is accurate enough
Acarin: Rattler
Dakhal: A sleek, sneaky something or other
CHAT - Sir Alexander Candelori: Truly a man is an abomination that does not dip his french fries into his chocolate frosty.

Maric a bear
Althea a cat
Vaylon a snake
Hali a hummingbird
Vidor a tiger
Myra a fox
Xanthe a parrot
Artus a monkey
Chione a wolf

These are the ones I can think of right off.

If I ould picture an Unicorn, Ydia would be that. But for normal animal, Ydia should be...I don't know, i can't really picture her as any kind of human.

For Chione, I picture her as a female Eagle, fierce but adorable.

Seneca should be...a mare. She's like the tank of Tse Gaiyan.

Ambrose...let's see, a fruitbat, may be. Nice but sometimes a bit spooky, lol.

So do I. His tendency to hurl a certain thing is usually amusing.
