What music fits your combat style?

Post by Lavi »

Okay, we all know about the music for the perfect fight scene in a movie. so If your character was in a fight scene what music would be playing in the background while your getting down and dirty, with the fights?

The musice I picked for been is interesting for me because I always see him pushing his opponents, and always darting in and out. I've called him sort of a Saboteur the kind of combat that focuses on quick strikes and some tricky techniques. I liked the high energy constent movement of this one though it's not as in your face as others but I could see him ducking around people, tripping them and dodging out of the way rapidly, all the while taunting them.

[ESP-GRAY - Shadowy-Gray]: No no (player) , you were right, it's wonderful. I think I'll send in my application today. I can't wait to partake in the parties there. I just have one question, will I need to kidnap my own child, or will there be some there for those who are un able to.

I picture it to be a very acrobatic Parkour style of fighting, and this definitly matches Coanid's attitude.

[FROM Liani (OOC)]: It's an ice cream conehead
You also notice a bronze crossbow bolt (x8) and the corpse of a slender pale white cave drakolin.
Alila softly compliments, "Thank you for the story--you were all excellent."

Well, it's kinda hard to describe, but you know how whenever fighting a mini-boss in OoT you have to observe how your enemy behaves, run in and attack when they are vulnerable, then get away and take a defensive stance? That's kinda how I see Fayne's fighting style. Thus: https://youtu.be/sz2Va9KiIEk
A scrawny alley cat stares after the dog with big green eyes.
Speaking to a scrawny alley cat, you ask, "Friend of yours?"
A scrawny alley cat hisses angrily.

[CHAT - GameMaster Rias would totally nuke Rooks]: Here's how elemancy works: The freeblegreeble and the zippoflasm have to be combined with the correct ration of himbleplimp, then you add the gargenheimer and adjust the froopulon for the pattern you want, apply some tarratarrtarr, yibble the wantaban, and let 'er rip!

I have, like, 4 alts that I barely log into, so I suppose I'll only do my Main Character; you have to ignore the lyrics (sort of, I guess you don't really, but I don't speak German and so they don't factor in so much as tone of voice), but this sort of deep, rock-heavy music is what I listen to while Vanja is fighting. I swear, she is the only Udemi I have seen who would rather go Dwaedn Wyr on someone than sneakily archery-stab them.

Rammstein - Reise, Reise

Maric's style is a bit straightforward, counting on power and determination as much as finesse. but it's not without its own sort of artistry and beauty, though often a crude sort.
if he would have a personal soundtrack for his battles, it'd probably sound a bit like this.

"I don't think we're ever going to find out what is going on with these canim, where are they coming from?!"
Kent arrives from the southeast.
Kent hugs you.
say um
You say, "Um."
a Mistral Lake sentry arrives from the east, armor clanking.
Kent heads north.
