[ESP-GRAY - Shadowy-Gray]: No no (player) , you were right, it's wonderful. I think I'll send in my application today. I can't wait to partake in the parties there. I just have one question, will I need to kidnap my own child, or will there be some there for those who are un able to.

As evidenced by my avatar here on the BBS, I have often envisioned Alexander appearing similar to John Hardin.

I tried to find a photo of a real person, but the google hits I get are of people who are way too good looking or "exoticized" for my taste. Here's my doodle of Ahelis. A bit too youthful looking now that I think about it, but it'll do.

Vanja looks something like that. Your quintessential freckled redhead. She's freckled out the wazoo, with really... Really red hair...

As an afterthought, that chick is also a bit too chubby; my PC is really, really lean. She's like a glorious, freckled, redheaded giraffe only she's sort of a short Faewyr at only 6ft. (I have better non-real images of her.)

Jezebel:

Only issues are the eyes and hair. The hair needs a bit more curl to it, and her eyes should be baby blue. Other than that, this is pretty much her.

I gotta say, for a fight-to-survive, post-apocolyptic, we're-all-screwed kind of place, the Lost Lands sure is filled with a lot of freakin' beautiful people.

There wasn't much about the aging process or time for progression so I thought, hey why not pick a young char so no one will pk her, grow my character as I learn this whole new world here. She'll age just like on other muds and I can get into the combat part after I learn the lore and mechanics. Backfire! Death awaits every corner and you better shape up or ship out. I had planned out pics for each stage of her growth. My avatar was next in line for progression.

Ah careful with that. The GMs are unhappy with too young characters, I've heard of penalties being given to too young characters because... Well a 12 year old can't exactly swing a sword, much less chop down a tree or go mining as easily as someone fully grown. Its not explicitly stated to be against the rules though, so if possibly getting some penalties is ok nothin stoppin yah :D

From this thread. I mean, there aren't hard-coded rules yet, but just something to keep in mind.

That said: it's nice to see how much thought people have put into this! With so many people picking non-real images, it makes me want to go back and do a Real vs. Art for my PCs. Gold stars for errybody.

If we gotta choose a RL equivalent, Fayne is gonna be impossible, unless you can find a young woman with long pure white hair. Jezebel, however, would look like this:

Just take away the bow and there you have her. Of course, I need to work on finding an assortment of dresses for her to wear that aren't super formal. Her current outfit is nothing like this.

Looks to me more like she is contemplating eating whatever guy she is looking at.

That could be too. I actually thought about including that with how she looks. "Work on" could be very loosely interpreted here ;)
