Merc Barracks - metal repairs

It seems that the service Mercenaries get at their metal repair shop is no different than what you get at any other metal repair shop and at the same price, right?
Idea 1. How about, instead of a 24 hour wait, cutting that in half to a 12 hour wait for members?
Idea 2. Rush jobs for light jobs or 'sharpening'. For items that are merely scuffed or pre-scuffed, this touch up has only a 2 hour wait.
