I want to start off by thanking the GMs for the recent tweaks to cooking, even if minor.
One of the changes was with the potted herbs. I was really happy to hear that they can be placed on surfaces and the herbs still grow.
The only issue I am finding with that change is relatively minor and I hope it's not seen as a complaint.
One can't water the herbs while they are still on the surface, nor can one pick them. One has to remove the pot from the surface, drop, water, pick, and put back on the surface.
Sure, I can put the potted herbs on the ground and keep them there, but that results in a spammy room and it just feels messy to me.
I may be missing something here and if so, do tell!
