Breakdown

Post by Lae »

I've looked around but I'm not great with forums. Is there a breakdown to which carvings are best and in what order? I've been trying to carve up a staff and I'd like something nice.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, what's the question exactly? Which carvings are "best" in what way?
The lore compels me!

well like, I've carved (in no particular order) poor, crude, malformed, nicely balanced, well-balanced, just a regular staff..

I was wondering if there is a carving that I should aim for when I'm trying to make my weapon, or is well-balanced the best it gets? Is there a particular order of how well something is carved?

Oh, the adjectives! I thought you meant different types of things you could carve. I think (Rithiel's the woodworking kid, not me) it generally follows this pattern:

- horribly malformed
- crude
- rough-carved
- (none)
- nicely balanced
- well-balanced
- masterfully-crafted
The lore compels me!
