Just curious how the code actually checks against this. If I have 2 mine supports of the same quality, will they both expire at roughly the same time if installed at the same time? Or will the first one degrade until it poofs, and then the second one start degrading.
Also, do supports count towards the limit of things that can be in the room (ie: towards the exposed vein count limit)
multiple mine supports
Re: multiple mine supports
It seems to count the first support first, then the second. That way, if you have a damaged support, you can go ahead and put in the second support and the second one will disappear eventually.
As for your second question...why do you need to have that many exposed veins anyways?

Re: multiple mine supports
It's just a process, some people might might one vein, or a few veins, but i'll just expose as many as I can and then mine them down. No real 'right' or 'wrong' way to go about mining preferences. There's no real reason to it. I'm just curious if I set up a good number of supports in a shaft (5 or so?), if it will significantly affect the number of veins that can be exposed at a time.
