A costly mistake

(Type stop to stop auto-logging.)
You continue chopping at a oak tree with your logging axe.
A oak tree falls to the ground with a loud crash!
** Suddenly you realize the tree is falling directly toward A dark brown mule. TIMBER!

A dark brown mule tries to scramble out of the way but moves to slow! The tree strikes him, knocking him to the ground!

71 crush damage to the right eye!
A dark brown mule has been defeated.

Roundtime: 16 seconds.

That's five thousand riln gone.... ouch.

I guess from now on I'm dismounting in an adjacent room before I start felling trees.

He should be in the stable you got him from last.

Ouch, nothing like an oak tree to the eyeball...

And yeah, he's not gone forever. Until we figure out how to handle mount death so that it doesn't cost you 5-35k a death, they'll be back at the stables recovering where you can RETRIEVE them again.

Yeah, he went back to the stable.. not the one I had him at last (outside the gate), but the one inside Shadgard instead.

Unfortunately, I was not aware of this, so I went out and bought another one using my life savings (part of the Aldric Mine Fund). :-(

Mounts always go to the inner Shadgard stable when they die. Having them go wherever they were last stabled would be nice, though.

Hrm... Well, I'll try to catch you in game sometime, and we can look into a few options to correct this.

I second Bryce's motion.
