You are holding a polished cabochon of rose quartz in your right hand and a small chunk of crystalline quartz in your left hand.
Could you adjust it so that 'cabochon' was a keyword to part the difference of these gems?

What do you mean by "keyword"? Are you just wanting it to work as a way you can specify targeting it? If that's the case, tell me which command isn't allowing you to specify. It should work already:
get chunk quar
You pick up a small chunk of crystalline quartz.
drop chunk quar
You drop a small chunk of crystalline quartz.
get cabo quar
You pick up a polished cabochon of rose quartz.
drop quar
You drop a polished cabochon of rose quartz.
point rose quar
You point at a polished cabochon of rose quartz.
point chunk quar
You point at a small chunk of crystalline quartz.

look cabochon
Look at what?
Is why I posed the question, let me try to use the shorthand now... I see what my issue was, sorry about that.
open back
You open a midnight blue many-pocketed leather backpack.
get cabo
Get what?
get cabo from backpack
Get what?
get cabo qu from backpack
You remove a polished cabochon of quartz from the midnight blue many-pocketed leather backpack you are wearing.
I forgot you also need to target the main word, my mistake.
