Crop Life Cycle

Post by Nootau »

The current regrowing plants never seem to die unless abused/neglected. What about having regrowing plants have a lifespan of 3 harvests before 'withering' which will need to have them removed, the soil tilled and something new planted.

The second catch could be, a regrowing plant cannot be planted on a plot where a plant recently withered at. This means after harvesting corn 3 times, the farmer will have to grow a cycle of turnips or something similar.

Just a thought.
The elements are slaves to no being. One must learn to ask for their aid, the elements offer power to the humble. This is why no one is truly a master yet everyone is a student..

To come later:
- Pests and pesticides
- Crop rotation
- Fertilizers

That would be included in "crop rotation", so it's on the docket.
The lore compels me!
