Seeing as Nether tainted being take additional damage from being attacked by iron or iron derived metals, do nether creatures take damage when they touch, or strike, something made of iron or iron derived metals?
The elements are slaves to no being. One must learn to ask for their aid, the elements offer power to the humble. This is why no one is truly a master yet everyone is a student..

While heavily Nether tainted creatures and beings take damage from directly holding items that are iron or iron based, I do not believe they take damage from attacking people wearing iron or iron based equipment.
