Posted prominently on a tree at the head of the Shadgard forest trail is a snow-dusted vellum scroll. Pulling open the scroll reveals the following:

Artisday, 31st day of Januarum of the year 1214

To any who enter here,

There is a large force of nethrim gathering at the burial mounds. They are guarding a bone totem. Enter at your own peril.
