Trading Tasks? Market?

Is our guild ever going to have tasks? Some suggestions...
Sell X riln worth of (random commodity) to the market at (random market location).
Gather X amount of (random commodity) and give to guild supply NPC.
Buy X (random commodity) from (random market location) and sell at (other random market location)

And some questions about the market...
Does Mistral Lake have a market? Are commodities available around Mistral lake different? Does stuff that is typically found at/around Shadgard sell for more in Mistral Lake and vice versa.

Why do items such as pine flitches sell for the same amount at a market that already has hundreds of them as they do at a market that has 0?

Do non-player "buyers" occasionally shop the market to lower quantities/remove goods from the game?

Other tasks could be securing contracts from certain NPC in the different towns or running Caravans between them.

I like those ideas. They have a bit more logic behind them than mine.

We've got lots of plans for Trader tasks, just haven't implemented them. They're along the lines of things that have been suggested here.

The market mechanic hasn't been finished yet, but there are plans for items gradually disappearing (assumed that NPCs buy them) and the number of commodities present at the market effecting the sell price.

Different areas have their own markets, so Mistral Lake does have its own. The pricing is different there on some items, but this hasn't been completely set up either.

Yay Alpha!

I'm in no rush, I'm still trying to figure out what's in the game already! That being said, I do want to just bump the possibility of turning in the ebony and gold signets to the guild as a task.

Thank you!
