How long are resen spores viable? What is the common belief?

Toying with corpse collection for various uses in Corvus, closest most abundant source would be infested and I'm wondering the how acceptable that would be for 'public health'.

No one really knows for sure. From my understanding there are too many rumors and opinions there is no "common belief" other than, "You don't mess with it if given any alternative."
