Infestation

Is there a section on how one becomes infested? Is it a known cause or is the knowledge very vague? It is known that spores are the cause of the growth but is this from inhaling the spores, bare skin being touched by the spores, open wounds which spores enter into?

The most common theory is that the primary means of infestation is through simple inhalation of the spores, but that creatures (humanity included) have over time built up a resistance, hence why most people can walk into, say, Tarueka, which is crawling with infested and full of spores, and come back out unaffected.

There are various theories and speculations on other means of infestation, but nothing conclusive.
