Channeling skill does not reduce the chance to drop channels in armor. The chance for that is a flat rate, increasing on density of armor material, and cannot be "trained off" skillwise in any way whatsoever.

There are two abilities that reduce this rate of channel failure:
- Druidic Connection: Udemi can use this to reduce chances to drop druidry channels in armor made of leather.
- Serafina's Blessing: Templar get this to reduce thaumaturgy channel drop rate in all armor types.

There are no plans to add any more such abilities, particularly to heavy channeling-usage groups such as Elemancers and Rook Parlour. Sorry.

I've had had a hard time explaining this to some folks.
It's easy to forget that these particular abilities reduce and don't serve as the cure all for those who choose to channel while armored.
