Hey guys, I noticed some of the info on Abilities incorrect on the wiki.
Mainly, I'm noting the requirements for the chants as they pertain to channeling.
If a Dev would like, I can go though and look at each ability on the wiki compared to its requirements IG and make notes of what needs to be changed.

Re: Abilities on Wiki
dude it's not just abilities, the wiki needs a lot of updates
Rain falls steadily to the earth.
The gore has been washed from you.
The blood has been washed from you.
You are splattered with gore!

And saying that without details is oh so helpful.[/sarcasm]xavier wrote:dude it's not just abilities, the wiki needs a lot of updates
Seriously, though, if there's something you went and looked for and couldn't find, it's very helpful to us if you post it. Doing a large update of the wiki is a huge undertaking and smaller tasks make it much more manageable. Some players also have accounts and do some updates for us. If you're interested in being one of those people, send an email.
The templar abilities should be updated, by the way.
Re: Abilities on Wiki
I would be happy to contribute sections to weapon and armor use drawing from some of the people that have been in the game longer. There's a lot if things I've learned in the last two weeks that would be very helpful on the wiki page that are no where to be found or have one vague sentence about it.
For instance my brother had to figure out stuff in the elemancer guild and the wording on staves and wands and if they could be used in conjunction or not. He was like "I don't even know if this is working as its expected to".
Anywho, I'll go through Templar and Dwaedn stuff and he can work through Elemancer stuff. What's the best way to get the info to you guys for updates? Or are you able to give us the ability to update stuff on the wiki.

Re: Abilities on Wiki
sorry Rithiel, my comment wasn't meant as a critisism, just as an observation. I have no prior experience doing anything other than reading a wiki but I'd totally be willing to help too. If not I'll start making notes, as far as specific examples however the only one that comes to mind is the cultivate ability in druidry. I had to go about in a wierd path to figure out how to use it cause there's no info under druidry and the cultivate task link doesn't have anything either. the fact

It looks like there was an article, but I don't know that it was linked from anywhere. I'll add a link to it from the druidry page.xavier wrote:sorry Rithiel, my comment wasn't meant as a critisism, just as an observation. Re: Abilities on Wiki
Just wanted to give a lot of respect up to Rithiel and Rias and others that have added over 500 wiki updates in the past 5 days. Rithiel especially has been making a MAJOR effort to make sure we get the wiki updated. As was stated earlier, if anyone has stuff they wanted updated, post it up. I'm perfectly willing to try and help any way I can... although I lately just try to proofread other peoples' updates. :-x
