Would there be any way to fix some sort of apparatus that would use a glove stretching to your forearm to hold a wand yet keep your hands free? Or does the wand actually have to be in contact with the palm of the hand to work at all?
Something like this, but switched around to lay on the top of the forearm.

What are you hoping to do with it? If you want the attack bonus, you would have to hold it. If your not going to zap with it, then holding it is useless anyway.

Or why not just gloves that have the wand spell on them so you can zap anytime, anywhere?! Point and pew. Just make sure you're pointing all your fingers or things'll get dicey.

I wouldn't want the attack bonus, just to be able to zap with it to get the elemental mixing while also keeping my hands free. so no accuracy bonus but the ability to use the wands element in conjunction with what you are channeling still.

Because the wands need their..crystalline? core I think to hold the pattern, or however wands work.
