Hydromancy becomes a bit more dangerous

Post by Rias »

Elemancers that have studied Journeyman Hydromancy will now have a chance, upon casting a two- or three-channel hydromancy cast, to manipulate the water into the target's mouth and nose. Aside from cleaning out any unwanted debris, it will also cause the target to suffer roundtime and some suffocation (energy) damage during the duration.

Having been on the receiving end of this effect, I can assure that it is most effective.
(Alexander clenches a fist momentarily, then stops and calms himself with visible effort.)

Is there a way to know how much energy damage is being suffered also.. when it is being inflicted? Only then it says 'You manipulate some of the water, forcing it into a cocky training warrior's nose and mouth!' or is it each time they are shown choking?
The elements are slaves to no being. One must learn to ask for their aid, the elements offer power to the humble. This is why no one is truly a master yet everyone is a student..

Not seeing how much energy damage the target suffers is intentional. It's variable, and happens every time you see them struggle for breath.
