Targeting descriptive grins

I noticed that when you want to grin at someone with an adjective (wry or wide), it only works for wry, not for wide.
ex) "grin wry person" will yield "X grins wryly at person."
ex) "grin wide person" will yield "X grins widely."
ex) "grin wry person" will yield "X grins wryly at person."
ex) "grin wide person" will yield "X grins widely."
