Wrong message when transferring

Trying to transfer items into a container too small for them results in a misleading message:

You try to transfer some of the contents of your black oilcloth pouch into a leather utility belt, but couldn't find
what you were looking for.
put black bandage in belt
The untreated black linen bandage is too large to fit into the leather utility belt.
