I killed a bison and this happened -

21 crush damage to the left eye!
Eyeball smashed, crushing the entire socket!
21 rake damage to the left eye!
Eyeball caught and pulled from the socket!
A shaggy bison falls to the ground!
You swipe a massive bear-paw at a shaggy bison! (M: 344 vs D:118)
18 crush damage - to the head!
Skull crushed with a loud **CRUNCH**!
27 rake damage - to the head!
Face nearly completely ripped off. Gotcher nose!
A shaggy bison has been defeated.
You glory in your victory over your opponent!

A gray-furred varwolf appears demoralized by her ally's defeat!
Never seen that happen before! And Waywolf thinks it's her friend. >.>
