Mule & wagon MIA

They up and disappeared. Checked all my usual haunts and the stables in the outpost and the trade coalition base.

If they were left out (i.e. the mule wasn't stabled) then someone could have killed the mule and hitched the wagon to their own mount and hauled it off. There are several mules hanging about in public areas right now, so one of them might be yours. There are also tons of wagons all over the place. I'd suggest returning your wagon and stabling your mount before you log out. If your mule was killed, it should be in the last stable it was stabled at.

Normally I leave him in my storehouse.

Found him, coulda sworn I checked that spot a half dozen times.... Oh well! Back to mining!
