With the recent changes to hunger, I've found myself purchasing more food abroad. It'd be nice if Nelra had something to offer besides gross travel rations. Maybe something could be added to the tea shop or a kabob vendor or something could come out.
You overhear the following rumor:
"I saw one of those Shadgard folk come barging into Grif's and shoot one of the patrons on the spot. Shadgard must be a pretty rough place with such outlaws running rampant."

I was thinking recently about something like having it to where PCs could contribute/donate to a hamlet and possibly have it to where what they contribute shows up on a menu in an inn or something similar. The hamlet could sell it at a high price to whomever wishes to buy the food.
It'll serve two purposes- the first being that the hamlet benefits financially from the sales of the food and the second being that the PCs passing through get something other than rations.
Oh, and the contributor gets no credit. It'll simply be considered an anonymous donation to a hamlet in need.
