Bowtruckles sighted!

Post by Rias »

Reports of aggressive bowtruckle scarab activity have been reported in the conifer forests outside Shadgard. According to local wildlife authorities, bowtruckle scarabs make their homes in the area's conifers and can become aggressive if their habitat is endangered.

Local woodcutters report that, after their initial frenzy, the bowtruckles appear to have calmed down a bit. While they continue to skitter about the forests, they have become fairly tame, though will still react aggressively if they observe someone felling or chopping trees in the area.

----------

Bowtruckles are now neutral by default, but will go hostile if they observe you felling or chopping trees (or, of course, if they are attacked). Characters can feel free to hunt them at will if they so desire.

Little buggers. I guess I'll worry about gaining guild ranks another way... or just wait for a guild lumber yard free of such imposters.

A way to temporarily placate them is in the works. But yes, your guild woodland will have the nice benefit of being pest-free!

Temporarily placate... Hire a bodyguard?

Well ok with the bodyguard so long as he/she's a tse'gaian as they KNOW(or should anyway) how to placate an animal.
