Nethrium Armor Damage Resistance

Post by Nootau »

There are two things I can't seem to find out. Is the damage resistance of Netherium armor higher or lower then that of steel? The other question I have is, what bonuses does a netherium breastplate have over a Cobalt one, if any?

Nethrium has a resistance and it's the only material (if this hasn't changed) that has that resistance. Cobalt does not. I don't think anyone has tested nethrium resistance yet as I'm unaware of any nethrium armor aside from the gauntlets I have. I'd offer test it out for you, but I'd rather not expose Acarin to that particular damage type.

I think I remember a GM saying that it's equivalent to steel at some point, but could be wrong.
