The guard at the festival was wearing a crossbow. Makes me wonder, was it functional? Would love to see them added to the game.

I think a crossbow would offer more anti-armor capability than a longbow but old world crossbows have a tendency of taking much longer to load than it is to notch an arrow. I think this would be a great expansion for archery specialists.

I'd love to add them! Always wanted to, never got around to it. They're a glaring omission in the available arsenal, it's true.

I doubt the guard's crossbow was functional, unless it was some kind of aesthetically-altered bow or firearm.

It wasn't functional, I just wanted to make everybody jealous with the idea of a crossbow.
