Swordbreaker (idea)

Swordbreaker, specifically for two-weapon users.
Swordbreakers are basically like a main-gauche, but typically wider and with a serrated side used to actually catch or stop the blade of an opponent by catching it. Leverage can also be applied making it possible to disarm, or 'break' the opponent's weapon.
What sparked this idea was seeing that cudgels were available in game and I thought it would be neat to have a cudgel and swordbreaker combo. In my imagination for clokworld these wouldn't be very offensive weapons, you would be able to slash or stab a bit, but are more designed as a weapon that counters an opponent, allowing a follow-up strike with the main hand once the sword is caught or stopped. These of course wouldn't work on weapons that weren't bladed. So a mace or handaxe would be a nasty way to avoid a swordbreaker's countermeasures.
