I have been adding some combat sounds to my MUD client, and one that has been troublesome is death messaging. It would be very useful to have a metaprefix display whenever a character or creature in the room dies.

Per the changelog: New metaprefix option: defeat. When on, the text ::DEFEAT:: will precede the messaging when a character in the room is defeated/killed.
