Did something change recently with dodge being cut in half while mounted?
You overhear the following rumor:

Dodge rates are underoing some reassessment to make them more balanced across incoming attack types. It's a work in progress.

I wonder if while mounted if it shouldn't be the ride skill not dodge that effects how well you avoid attacks.

Could always make it a mix between your riding skill and the horses dodge skill. Could lead to training horses!

Calculation updated. Shouldn't be quite as crippling now. War riding also helps a little more.
