Hello there!Days of silence turned into weeks, and weeks into months. With the scrappy leader of The Lost Rangers gone off-the-charts in the middle of his preparations, its members were left wondering as of what might have happened... he must be wondering how everyone else is faring, right?
Recently however, there have been sightings of an untidy figure stockpiling writing materials. Scraps of document desings littered across the street, no other material than rough, harsh parchment. How much longer will we have to wait?
My intent to pick my projects here back up continues! This post should serve as an introduction to The Lost Rangers and what I've been up to before going radio-silent, aka "off the charts" (Cartography idioms are the best idioms)
In short, a weakling and cartographer named Tandor decided to group up escorts, allowing him to slowly but surely explore The Lost Lands. The main goal of his is to make a map of as much of the region as he can discover, aiding others along the way!
This is mainly done through scheduled expeditions, which are notified to other members via IC mail. It has been observed that plenty of secondary tasks and mission can arise from this goal: assisting with the preparations, memory keeping, spreading the word, escorting others and so on, though most of the progress is made during the expeditions themselves.
In parallel, I have been making and sharing progress on a map OOC. I post news about it to members of The Lost Rangers through a small Discord group, trying my best to prevent unsavory spoilers.
Secondary progress has been made to port this map to more accessible formats such as a digitally interactive web version allowing narration, or a physical, tactile copy. One of these should be the main focus once the graphical version of the map is completed.
Once the company is available once more, feel free to gauge wheter you wish to join and stick around for the expeditions! (We have combat and non combat characters involved, so don't fret and come have a good time!)
