The Spaceship Vandin Part 2

This second part of my theory tries to address where Vandin is now, and what I have to say is not good. This one is also largely unsubstantiated by much lore, but more so by observations.
Have you ever wondered about the Shadgard canyon? It's a canyon without a river. Generally, rivers carve out canyons over time or they can be carved out by massive glaciers as well. However, there is no river in Shadgard, and the closest one is the Stone Canyon which is several dozen miles away. Many astute observer would say that the river use to exist as a subterranean flow, but the barrier blocks it.
So what is the barrier? My friends, skeptics, naysayers, I'd like you to entertain the idea that the star ship Vandin is the barrier located within Shadgard, crash landed some time in the distant past. This crash carved out the canyon itself, so great was the structure. Survivors were some how cut off from one half of the ship, so they exited out on Shadgard's side, the ones located in the other half exited out in the underground river and made their way to Nuum. Alternatively, the ship could have broken into two parts, one crashing into the mountain, and the other piece landing in the deserts beyond. This could explain why ancient Nuumic glyphs are located near Shadgard in the crypts. Perhaps it is where they buried those lost in the crash. The ones who made their way into the desert went on to settle Nuum. This could be why the Nuum have such striking features compared to the rest of those in the world. However, some questions remain, what caused the crash? Has anyone made it into the ship? If so, why are they hiding it?
