Re: Hair-worn items and Helms
I'm pretty sure if you put the helmet on and then the hairstyle, it should work. Least it did with mine in the past. It's either hair clip then helm, or helm then hair clip. Protip.

Re: Monks under review
Just reposting this for easier review by J. If monks could some how enchant or infuse armor with light so that it eitehr had greater damage reduction value or automatic healing properties it would up their usefulness without actually having to be in the combat, which is a touchy area for most indivi...

Revolver Fanning reducing rolls
When a target is attacked by more than one person within a short amount of time, their defense rolls are lowered. I believe this is due to the surround mechanics. I feel that revolver fanning should also cause this reduction on the second firing since it is two shots within a second, and dodging bul...

Re: Monks under review
I really liked Rias' idea for imbuing weapons with light. To add to it, I would suggest enchanting as a guild specific trade for the monks. Sorta like spirit augmentation, monks can add the essence of certain immortals to weapons, clothing, or armor. The list of immortals and benefits could increase...

Fish pricing
Would it be possible to look at the pricing for fish? In the copper-banded pine barrel you see an average speckled green rock-eater (x2), an average speckled gray river-duster (x6), a small flat spotted brown mudfish (x2), an average spotted white crappie (x8), a copperscale trout, an average orange...

Re: Fishing too simplistic to require an ability
I agree with Kent on this. When the ability was first released, I thought it was fair since it carried all of those skills with it. The only reason my character has it is to engage in fishing. Even if it were capped at 100 without the ability I would much rather that than it take an entire slot.

Re: Skills, toys, and the dreaded metagaming
This actually came up within the past hour of me playing. I was under the impression through in character roleplay that kattars were jealously guarded and recovered at all costs by the claw. I apologize if this is no longer the case or incorrect. My character was acting in a manner suited to the inf...

Just a concern of mine that this will invoke a lot of looting for those players who have keys. Is this something players should be reacting to IC?

Routine Maintenance for Firearms
Hi guys great job with all of the recent events and changes, I was looking at the general ability, Firearms: revolver fanning as a potential ability, but the description says that it has a higher rate of damaging the weapons. I think this mechanic may be intended to prevent the over use of the abili...

Re: Skinning for the ... winning?
Randomly generated mini areas that create caves filled with wolves, snakes, bears, and infested would be a great way to add flavor to the wilderness. You could make the areas generated based on the wilderness terrain type. So mountains could generate caves, forests could generate outcroppings and co...

Specifying Ammo type for use in a Particular Firearm
Hello, So I’ve already written a set of aliases that allow me to swap between iron shot and lead shot after unloading my guns, and then to reload them. However, it made me think about how Kent use to set up all kinds of aliases to do loads of stuff in a short amount of time. Don’t think this was rea...

Ironcross, you are right. Clok’s player base is very mature. This is why such breaks aren’t viewed as a punishment, but really an assisted guidance towards what Clok is. It’s a game we roleplay characters in. This isn’t the first time chat has been disabled, and it may not be the last. However, I pe...

Re: Stealth vs Crowds
Surround mechanics. 1vs 4 people. the group of four people attacks the single target. Single target can't just dodge their attacks, they're a direct threat and requires effort on their part to deflect each one. 1 stealthed target vs 4 targets. Stealthed target fires from the best possible position t...

Re: Stealth vs Crowds
If you want to bypass stealth without having any skill what so ever, just grab an elemancer who canhydro nova, or any kind of nova for that matter. If there's a stealthy person attacking you, then run, walk away find a better terrain to fight on. There's plenty of ways to turn things like this in yo...

Re: Stealth vs Crowds
In a fight between people who have equal perception and stealth it isn't as OP as you might think. My biggest issue with this would be that people will just rely on having groups of people rather than training perception up. If this does become a thing I would say that it only start to hav any notic...

Re: Stealth vs Crowds
Stealth isn't invisibility. Most characters who use it don't use any kind of armor which means as soon as they're hit it's over for them. I do think it should be balanced out a bit more. I'm not sure adapting surround mechanics to stealth is the best way to go about it though.

Yeah, it isn't something that happens super often from my experience using them, but it does happen. Only has a chance to happen if you hit the arm or legs though.
