Armor Rack Display Change

I would like it if armor racks displayed armor like the ARMOR command. I don't know how feasible this would be to implement At the moment if you look at an armor rack, it's displayed like so: You see nothing particularly unusual about the simple pine armor rack. On the simple pine armor rack you see...

I'm super hyped about this - I've been hearing hints of it whenever you guys mention "Death mechanics will change" and it's finally here OH YEAH BABY

Re: Seems some adjectives no longer working with 'get' command.

I will add to this - you can't use this command with the new harnesses. If you have a shield on a harness, a simple "Get shield" will not work. Harnesses and horse gear are odd in their implementation (but are awesome and everyone should just suck it up and type from harness)

To add to this, actually, thank YOU, Alila!

It's so infrequent to have someone actually play the situation where you met Allen the way you did. I loved every moment of it.

Re: Swashbuckling to work with cutlasses

Hey Noctere,

Thanks for your really fast response - I totally understand. That's a tough call - many people like cutlasses the way they are, and so do I.

Swashbuckling to work with cutlasses

It seems thematically appropriate that a cutlass would function with swashbuckling, so I'd like to see this happen. As it's a 2 lb weapon, it should technically fall under the category of lighter-weight swords for the purposes intended.

Re: A question on Herbalism

I've harassed the developers quite a bit on this topic myself. I believe that I was told "for all intents and purposes, the provided list of poultices cover the gamut of all required poultices". Poultice creation generally always results in a dud unless there's a specific formulation you f...

Re: Rules?

Weapons are for losers! I think there's people who say "well it doesn't hurt to always be prepared and have something in backup" but to my understanding is that the brofists use only brawling and anything that wouldnt count as unarmed brawling is lame. But you'd also get called a moron for...

A real delight! A real treat! Thanks for your hard work, everyone involved in this non-festival gathering!

My poor wallet. I'll need to save up for the upcoming festival, too!

The Electric Company

Hey, you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just wanted to give a shoutout to our ragtag company. It's been a challenge to build the framework of whatever haphazard group we're in, but I've really quite enjoyed experiencing CLOK with all of you over the last year. Our adventure has really only just begun...

Re: feather plucking to fall under skinning

It's not a skill gain thing
It's just weird to me that I have to butcher before I butcher. Does that make sense?

Bedrolls equipped to horses

I haven't actually tried putting them in a saddlebag, but I think it'd be a great aesthetic to be able to throw bedrolls on the backs of our horses like a saddle back support pillow thing.

Minor Animation functioning on nethrim

I would really like to see us being able to cast our familiars into the shells of nethrim once they're killed, animating its body for our sick pleasure.

feather plucking to fall under skinning

Not sure how doable this one is, but for the sake of keeping things in line with standard skinning practice it would be nice if plucking feathers off of bird creatures was a skin action and not a butcher action.

Setting a gather fired/hurled container

Similar to how we can now set auto hurl flags onto throwing weapons, it would be really nice to be able to set a gather ammo container. I find myself shoving my javelins into my vasculum and failing to find room for javelins with the gather hurled command.

Corroded Bronze Bars and the Market

After the recent patch to corroded bronze not being valued at the same rate as standard bronze, I was wondering. Does this mean that people flooding the market with corroded bronze bars will still affect the bronze demand in the market, i.e. will corroded bronze still lower the price of standard bro...

ASP plus Depart Penalty

Just wanted to make sure that there's nothing odd going on here, but it appears that having an ASP with a Depart Penalty causes you earn negative skill gain. I'm actively losing skill per roll! I just want to clarify whether or not this is an intended interaction, and whether my penalty is going dow...

I saw this gif and I thought of this thread. re: disclaimer: Not to drive a point in, I get it, but here's a link of an example of gender equality (safe for work). (It's a gif, for you visually impaired folk.) (Contents: Lady sitting on makeshift trailor hooked up to a motorcycle that's held up by a...
