It depends on how careful you were. Have you ever held a lit match or a lighter to cobwebs?

I'm still not sure the debuffing needs to be empowered any further. And considering the nature of the game (being in Alpha), it's best to design guilds at least partially on the premise that there will, hopefully, be more people online more regularly. While it isn't always the "standard", ...

I think that increasing the chances of an enemy staying mesmerised/asleep when under attack is potentially a bit overpowered. Mummers are, from my understanding, meant to be Support based characters. I've poked around on a Mummer, and got the Tranquility ability, and didn't think it underwhelming. I...

Yeah. I think this is maybe an oversight, seeing as the Mummers are the most recent Guild and haven't been played all that much recently. Alpha is alpha! Secondly, not all guild abilities tie into skills. As it stands, and seems, I'd guess that Mummer magic isn't based around any skills. Essentially...
Also, am I imagining things, or did I read that you can train off the added two seconds from marksmanship? If so, I am curious what kind of skill I will be looking at to do that.
Udemi get an ability that decreases their round time with bows, so that might be what you read.

I do, personally, like the idea of minor bonuses to either starting skills, or the actual learning of skills, based on a background. Mostly because it's a bit odd to make a character that was raised, for instance, by farmers, but doesn't actually have any skill level in farming.

I think that more refers to the fact that other guilds could potentially know elemancy, not separate characters. As I said, the Udemi have access to aeromancy, even though they are not elemancers. Even though my Udemi knows aeromancy though, he only can access a single channel, and does not gain acc...

Well, their power (from what I understand) stems through channeling raw emotions through the words. A warchanter could still feasibly perform at inns and taverns, will still remaining in character. But I'm not sure how else they could reasonably gain guildpoints, as they are meant to be a non combat...

In terms of open and closed skills, it's fairly simple. For the most part, if it's a magic skill, then you can only learn it from the related guild. So if you want to learn Geomancy, you've got to be in a Guild that uses it, and the only guild that uses it is the Elemancer guild. That's primarily du...
In which case we do have extended race selection. It's not our fault that the rest of fantasy uses the word incorrectly.
This. Most fantasy genres DO use the race incorrectly. If an Elf is anything other than a human, it would be a different species, in the same way that a chi...

I'd like to add that, the Infested Merchant area is a Plains area, so anyone hiding there without the Chameleon spell would suffer a penalty, and be seen much more easily.

Hammer Toss There is a fine art to unarmed combat, involving precise strikes, and deadly accuracy. However, we throw that out the door at Dwaedn Vil. Literally. We hurl the 'finely honed murder machines' at each other, turning their deadly accuracy and precise strikes into flailing missiles. This w...

It'd be nice if meat chunks could be cut into strips, and perhaps have each strip be about as nutritional as a ration, or even half of a ration?
