Re: Groinkick to work on both genders
P.S. Not that I'm saying it would be bad to be used as a less-effective brief stun or something on female targets.

Re: Groinkick to work on both genders
I don't think anyone's arguing that a woman getting kicked in the groin would not feel any pain, but rather that it wouldn't have a highly debilitating nausea-inducing agonizing effect comparable to that of males, and that's the whole point of the ability.

Brackenridge Wildlife
Brackenridge Pass now has some local wildlife! Travelers making their way through the main pass are likely to spot mottled crag marmots and stonehoof rams, both content to allow humans to pass but nonetheless ready to defend themselves if attacked. Those more intrepid explorers heading into the high...

Jackdaw Trail wildlife
Two new critters can be found wandering about Jackdaw Trail: shardtine caribou and broadpaw lynx. Both will avoid getting too close to humans unless aggressively approached, in which case they will defend themselves - that is to say, they won't attack you unless you attack them first. Both yield pel...

Woodland Trail: Updated, now Olrac Trail
Remember the old Woodland Trail area, that used to have infested poachers and such but has been empty for a while now? It's been udpated! It's now known as Olrac Trail, and has been split into 4 sub-areas: - Olrac Trail Meadowland: Greatclaw moles are known to make this meadowland their home. Normal...

Re: Javelin and Pilum
"But Rias," you say, "I tried out a pilum and it was totally wussy and lame, not even seeming to outperform the wimpy smaller javelin!" I hang my head in shame. The majority of pilums (pila?) out there were incorrectly designed to be based on the javelin template instead of the p...

Skinning for the ... winning?
I can't think of clever thread subjects right now, sorry. Anyway, everyone's aware of the fact that it's kind of hard to find animals to skin in CLOK that are not: A) Only available via the HUNT command and very tedious to chase/take down B) Infested, and therefore give terrible-quality pelts C) In ...

Re: Of Dominions and Resistances
If we have our event flagged turned on, is there a way we can specify that we only want the event flag turned on for the Dominion stuff and not for some other thing we're not exactly willing to participate in? I didn't set up the policy nor the flag, but my understanding is that it's an "all o...

Re: Of Dominions and Resistances
An important note for those wanting to get particularly involved in this stuff: The Dominion/Resistance events are very likely to have long-term effects on those who get seriously involved. It is a highly volatile, political, dangerous, conflict-driven, and world-affecting situation that should not ...

Of Dominions and Resistances
Over the past years, the Mistveil Dominion has done much to establish peace, order, and prosperity in their domain. The people of Mistral Lake have enjoyed an increased quality of life, to be sure. And yet, there are those who continue to resist this progress toward a greater and unified Lost Lands....

Thanks to all who participated in tonight's gripping game of Ding. I had a lot of fun. I'm considering getting a bunch of questions ready beforehand so when I can't ad-lib something quickly on the fly, I can just draw from those questions and keep the pace up. For those who missed it, Ding isn't muc...

Re: Mummer AoE casting revisited
Ooohhh, what if their stuff had to be more actively channeled/focused to maintain? Not as in having to keep a channel open like elemancy and whatnot, but more like a target is only mesmerized by Wonder for as long as you actively maintain that mesmerization , and doing other things interrupts that? ...

Hurlable forageable pine cones
Let us forage pine cones that we can then hurl at people. Because while it snows a lot in Shadgard, there are still times when snowballs are unavailable.

The Dwaedn Wyr originated on the Faewyr's home continent of Tyr-Gwyrd long, long ago.
Wait for the Jirato Seal of Approval before running with this, since he's Head Guy.

Shadgard and Utasa
Q: Why the Shadgard hostility toward Utasa? (a question someone asked on chat/Discord) A: Due to a number of incidents in the past, the general Shadgard public opinion is that Utasa are nosey spies always getting into other peoples' business, and sometimes worse. A lot of this developed when Gunther...

Re: Dwaedn Wyr information
With Jirato's permission, I added two brief sections to the wiki article regarding martial taboos of the Dwaedn Wyr as well as their unique flavor of non-channeled druidism. Hopefully this clarifies a bit more on which martial practices are considered unacceptable to Dwaedn and which aren't, and tha...
