Re: What's your characters favourite item and why?

You are holding a hand-made trophy in your right hand. You carefully examine a hand-made trophy... Obviously hand made, this trophy is made of pine wood scraps that have been crudely, but lovingly, shaped into a three column stand with a heavy base. The base is slightly larger than it should be and ...

Lacking the hot stuff

It seems like a heavy oversight that there is no hot chocolate or coffee in a town such as Shadgard. Miners need caffeine, and it's cold enough to freeze the balls off of a brass monkey about 90 percent of the time. :P.

Re: Surviving CLOK: A Guide

Cooking with skewers is really really hard, so if you're in a situation where you need to eat fast and don't have a lot of cooking skill, forage instead of trying to skewer some fish/meat, as cooking it improperly and eating it will cause you to become sick.

Re: Ability make gun ammunition.

If it did get put in I'd say only have it for the Artasens. Mainly because it requires a mold, and I don't think everybody in the lost lands is going to be able to create a perfect spherical mold. By the way it's described though, it doesn't sound like their's much skill involved, so the shot qualit...

Re: Patreon! (Non-Paypal donations)

You can set your account up to donate monthly, then just unsubscribe after it takes the money out. I don't think it takes it out right away, rather waits until the next cycle which is the first of the month I think. Not too sure on that actually. There's no fee that I know of for doing this.

Re: Is your character religious?

Coanid doesn't believe in most immortals in the traditional sense. He more or less thinks they're for the most part over glorified undying who have done seemingly super natural things. There are a select few that he believes may in fact be super natural entities, but he doesn't believe they're looki...

Request for snow to stay on the ground longer

"Where'd all the snow go!" He said just a few minutes after the two day snowstorm stopped.
Seriously though, could we have snow banks and ice added in as part of the weather system? Maybe while it's being worked on have puddles and what not too?

Making critter's skill levels randomish

So I was thinking today. It's a little odd to think that every critter that spawns is exactly the same as any other critter that spawns, so why not instead have their skills randomized along a set range. For example: the critters in the tarueka wilds roll 100, or at least that's what I'm recalling, ...

Re: Ability idea

I think this is a viable request. Someone who is skilled in backpacking will know how to distribute their packs' weight to allow for easier transportation as well as allowing for easier movement. This ability could be called expert backpacker, and would add 10 pounds or so to each encumbrance level.

Using alts to scout out guilds

I'm sure everybody knows what I'm talking about. Though I'm not criticizing people who explore different guilds to find one that fits them, I am criticizing those individuals who are using alts in secret guilds or RP only guilds just to gather information about the inner workings for ooc knowledge. ...

Re: Frustrating Bug in the swamp room

From my experience there's multiple, "Pitcher plant" rooms, with their own unique exits that allow you to progress forward. The messages you see when things move into that room are because that snake or w/e went south out of a room and wandered into the room you were currently in. It reall...

Re: Salt Flats, Desert of Desolation, Obsidian Crags

Just want to say I'm super happy about this. One thing I've noticed so far though is that the salt flats don't have any terrain information in the interface bar at the top. It shows the environment as outside and desert, but it's missing terrain. Judging by the descriptions I'd say it should be rock...

Re: Wars and rumors of wars (OPEN FORUM!)

I present this example for thought So for this example we’ll use three people. Person’s 1 through 3. So 1 knows 2, 2 doesn’t much care for 1 because they act a certain way their character doesn’t like. Person 1 also has another friend named person 3. Person 3’s character also considers person 1’s a ...

Re: Walk-In Bank Vaults

I think you're paying for the security rather than the space. Larger items tend to be more valuable and so it's probably why they charge more to store them. Plus those huge ass crates are probably taking up more room than the smaller crates and so they have to charge higher for them to keep people f...

Re: Wars and rumors of wars (OPEN FORUM!)

The day that I'm bombarded with tells from every player asking me why my character did something the way he did is the day I quit. I can't deal with it from one player let alone multiple people. It's already lead me to ignore that person on all ooc communications. I fail to see how asking for reason...

IDK how to do block quotes so I'm just pasting it in. Vaylon. Yes, and I would do the same if it turns out that I was caught red-handed. The problem with this sort of mentality is that it's not the player's job to provide evidence on an ooc level. If you do something and someone accuses you of doing...

Re: Wars and rumors of wars (OPEN FORUM!)

I had no idea that there were such rumors. I know there are some people who are not very liked in game, but always figured it was due to their own actions and behaviors. The implication that there is a group attempting to drive off other players based on ooc feelings is really astonishing to me as I...

What would otherwise appear an exceptionally plush and comfy couch has been improved with the addition of countless metal spikes of varying sizes, jutting out of the furniture at all angles.
1 pierce damage!
You try to sit down on a spiked couch but end up poking yourself on a spike. OUCH!
