I'm down for riln, nothing more. It's a bit different. Especially if you can kill the mob, and it drops all the riln it might have looted so far.

Re: Consolidated Wyrvardn ability suggestion thread

Raise your hafted and shield folks, and pack your torches. Though, maybe some sort of "holy censor" Wydanbdan style wouldn't be an awful decision? Basically, imagine a flail but with something of a hollow head. Inside, it is packed with burnable material that is held in place by the frame ...

Re: Haiban Feedback and Suggestions

Personally I feel like if any city should have a huge range in upkeep, it is Haiban. It ranges from people who are so broke they're selling their fist to make a living, to some of the richest people ever, to massive organized work fronts. I'd love to see it almost organized into "bands", w...

Re: "Vacant" Hamlets

Agreed. It would be nice to put to use some of these areas. I realize that not every area is intended to be designed as a hunting ground, as some are event centric... but once things are out of the way, well... variety is the spice of life and all.

Channeling

Just what does channeling effect beyond being able to open multiple channels? Is there any actual reason to work on the skill beyond X amount needed for whatever abilities you may have with it as a requirement, and to be able to open the channels you need. The blurb says as follows.. "Channelin...

Re: Short term to-do list

Both Javelin and Lance fall under Forging: Blades and therefore utilise blade/hilt in the crafting mechanics instead of Head/haft.

I think maybe to even the two lists out for the Artisans? I'm unsure. I can't see any other reason as to why it was done.

Crafting and Encumbrance

So. We know that Mining, Forging, Leatherworking, and Woodworking (I think?!) are heavily effected by encumbrance. Anyone know if there are any others? I've never been able to tell if "Skinning" is or not. How about some of the others... Logging? Farming? Fishing? Carpentry? Knapping? Lapi...

Re: Wrong Sized Bars, Smithing, and Cutters

That would be neat, as well. Just, not everything is 4 pounds. and if you've got say, a 9 pound bar, and you want 8 pounds of it that means you'd cut it initially into a 4 pound, and a 5 pound. Then cut the 5 pound into another 4 pound, then combine the two 4 pounds in the furnace to finally get you...

Some eventual finish to the Wildhaven clawed tree. Or at least, I assume that was never finished up. Hard to tell with Clok sometimes.

Bump to this. Especially with crossbows being more commonly (if people played the Guild) available. It would add a nice extra use to the fletching side of things as well, and blacksmithing arrows.

Wrong Sized Bars, Smithing, and Cutters

So. Personally, the part I actually *hate* the most about Smithing is the cutting of bars. Why? Because you're ALWAYS playing around trying to get the right bar length to make something if it isn't 4 pounds. Then you're having to remember which of your bars are not the standard 4 pounds, but happen ...

I think it has been hinted before that Shardling/Drakolin scales offer more protection than is indicated by their examine. Would it be possible for the examine some way to be updated to show this?

Re: "Light" Hafted Weapons?

Bumping this. It would be really awesome if the Shillaegh (or however you spell it) weapon type was added to crafting to provide a decent "hafted" practice weapon. Metal cudgels/bars would also be a great little addition. Nothing says I'm going to "rough you up" as Elystole put i...

Bumping this. It's such a simple thing, and would be a huge quality of life. I hate having to wait those 40-60 seconds extra for an item to cool off.
