You know what'd be evil?
Mobs that automatically pickpocket when they see a potential target, and have a stow container so they STOW whatever they pickpocket. Train people to close their containers!

Changes to some carvings. Added three new Commodity Carvings and removed them from the basic pool, it made no sense that a profession was a basic warrior type.

Re: The Concord
I could definitely see this as a draw to bring more people to the coastline. Remember that the quarantine is still heavily in effect, and it wouldn't be far fetched that sersi and her gang were shot upon and had to make a fast break back to the Lost Lands, their ship crashing on the shoreline! It's ...

Re: Player Mine Changes
It depends on use. If you're using the room a lot and it crumbles a lot it deteriorates quickly if you're not taking good care of it by digging it out every once in a while. It only goes down about 2 points a night. Maybe a little more or less. It takes four rounds of digging for me to clean a room ...

Mob weapon change
So, quality of life suggestion here. Scavengers from the Ebon Pass Fortress use a weapon called "a weathered piece of wood". However, this wood isn't treated as campfire material, and can't be added to campfires. Would it be possible to make this change, or to change their weapons to branc...

Re: Animation Storage Options
I'm of two minds because I have two ways of reading that post. either, YAY or yay. so, YAY: Is this a large buff towards Animates, allowing sorcerers to essentially bring a lower class mob to their equivalent skill level? If so, this largely changes the way sorcerers use their animates! This is grea...

A bit finagly, but have two pouches, and close the one with the appropriate ammo type.

Re: Animation Storage Options
Just throwing in ideas into the idea pot here. Rather than looking at it from a perspective of "I want to become attached to this animate and use it and only it, and not need to dig up or murder new things to get a new animate," I just think that animates can be quite cumbersome at times f...

I only got to hang out around the periphery of the event, but the player in question was a cool cat about the whole thing. It seemed like it was a great event! I even got to RP around the activities, even though I was of no real consequence or proximity to the event! Neat!

I hope this is actually a result of high herbalism, as a way to reward those who have put in the hours into the skill. That being said, also possible bug!

Re: One of the hardest things as a developer...
I had a long, productive discussion with Ironcross32 this morning because I was flabbergasted by his post that perfectly reflects why this motion was necessary in the first place. I pried a bit, and discovered he was a bit taken aback by this move, since he doesn't feel it's right to punish the play...

I'd love to have access to player crafted wooden shields. It would need nails, and hoops, and wood, and stuff.

Re: Geomancy question
Thanks for your response, Noctere! As the original poster of the "damage is too damaging" topic, I agree that Geomancy shouldn't have as much power as pyromancy. Heck, everything should be weaker! I also agree with the idea that drawing real life examples can definitely impede proper inter...

So I've had the honor of running into a lot of players in game recently, and it's been a wonderful experience. Here's a few off the top of my head. Dimon: Donkey selling, overcharging wonderful merchant that I absolutely loathe. I don't even use that armor! Kidding. You're a delightful character and...

Geomancy question
Hey all, just wanted to inquire about an oddity I'm experiencing with multiple channels of Geomancy. I've seen that compression pattern has no effect on Geomancy past one channel and that the damage and effect of larger channels doesn't seem to correlate to a realistic effect. Specifically, the thir...

Thanks, J! I appreciate everything you do for us! I know it's been a busy week.
I just heard groans on chat about their issues not being resolved in a timely manner and I know you guys do look at the emails all the time. Thought I'd throw in this suggestion for them, as well!

So I'm not sure the volume of support requests you guys receive, but at times, it can feel like our emails go unread or unnoticed. It would do wonders for my psyche if I received some sort of generic prewritten response from a GM after my email has been read on whether the issue is being resolved or...

Being a Better Person
Hey all. I've been practicing this thing recently called "Thinking before I speak." I realize that the words that I say often can have great impact even when they're completely nonsensical and spoken just out of jest. And this can lead to poor feelings between us, as people. I'd love to sh...
