A Dreaded List of Questions Thread
Hi, Slowly, this list has been growing very large! I have attempted to remove any questions which are best researched ic. Mostly, these are lore and culture questions which would be difficult to ask anywhere else or which seem okay to answer oocly. Sorry there are so many and for the lack of cohesiv...

Re: Death about to become more dangerous
Hi, Sorry :( Your character concept is sad and beautiful, but Clok's wilderness captures the element of untamed and sprawling very well. It is simply very difficult to find someone who does not use mail or the esp and--maybe if Maeriwyn were around more often people would learn where to look for her...

Re: Fancy new metals
Sorry, there was a question mark there--it was a guess, because Nuum is known for its channelers? I was not trying to fabricate facts, it was only speculating.

Re: Fancy new metals
Hi, Could I beg for any lore blurbs regarding the metals, pretty please with flapjacks on top? Presumably orichalcum is really super popular in Nuum? ;) The ore pieces have a description, but the smelted metal does not--can I ask for visuals, or information regarding its appearance? Either way, than...

Re: armor appraisal
That would be wonderful too, but I did not want to suggest something super complicated. It was only a suggestion to tie examining an armor's resistances to armor blacksmithing or maybe armor use, too. But a loremastery ability would be amazing yes please! *hopeful* Maybe really super rare materials ...

armor appraisal
Hi, Maybe this is a silly idea, and if it seems unreasonable or difficult to implement it's okay, but has it been considered to have an ability or an armor blacksmithing skill requirement to examine armor and receive information on more exotic resistances, such as fire, acid, cold, or electricity? T...

Take care, Dorn. Thank you for all the wonderful times, and the terrifying times, and the wonderfully terrifying times.
Dorn was many things, but always memorable in ways both blunt and subtle.
Thank you!

Re: Telepathy and you (Feature Request)
It seems to be an issue specific with words; the targeting syntax works for copies in anything else--elemancy and melee combat--and targeting or re-targeting with the words seemed to work, but only when they were not the same creature. If there is a hound and a laborer, then she was capable of sleep...

splitting food
Hi, This is a very mundane and boring suggestion that may not even be in the write sub-forum, but could it please be possible to split food, reducing the bites, but making multiple versions to share? Then we can break a cookie in half, cut a pie into slices, or pour a soup into two bowls. And if it ...

Re: For Humor
Pleeeease help. The casualties of this encounter were my ribs, and um, maybe some flapjacks. I can think of no better place to immortalize Zoe's conversational skills. O_O Speaking to you, Zoe exclaims, "If you want to capture a zoe.. all you got to do, is leave something shiny, on some sort of...

Re: For Humor
Maybe this humor is a little self indulgent and fueled with sleep deprivation, but I could not stop laughing. Speaking to a fungus-covered bowtruckle scarab, you quietly say, "I am contractually obligated to tell you to…please get frosty." (Afterwards) Vlora asks, "And contractually o...

Re: Monks under review
Rp, Always rp! :D Does the church have any kind of official book? There is the one in the church in Shadgard, but what kinds of things would be written in it? Maybe monks and templars could read from it, or make up stories, or hymns. Anyone can do these, really--presumably thaumaturges are allowed t...

hydro nova
Hi, Sorry to ask for more toys, but could it be considered to have hydromancy novas performed with more than one open channel, or maybe only with three channels, have a chance of drenching for a short time due to the amount of water produced, please? Or telling me how silly of an idea this is, that ...

finishing lessons above the skill cap
HI...this really should not bother me as much as it does, but could it please please made so that lessons that require you to be above the skill cap to complete somehow...auto-complete themselves if you are at the skill cap, or vanish, or can still be worked through for no gain other than having it ...

Re: Identifying wounds
Ooooh! Even if it required an ability slot, is there any possibility of this happening? It could be so much fun! Even if it's only on the way to the nearest temple, it is always interesting to try and figure out what killed someone. At the moment we are limited to "Hmm, there are few visible wo...

Thank you for the warning, Jirato. I will do my best to conceal Clok withdrawal symptoms from friends and family during this long and trying maintenance period.
But more seriously, thank you for the update, and hopefully you are having fun! ;)

Hi, Yes, I'm being annoying again, and so soon! Is it intentional that this seems a little bit impossible? It could be that I'm being unfair and not training brawling enough before being critical about it, but channeling while unarmed strike-ing produces a message about finding doing both difficult....
