Re: Everburning braziers
1) Thank you for this.
2) Would it be possible that as an alternative to ever-burning braziers, that braziers be available that can be re-filled similar to the sconces? A moveable heat source does have a good bit of utility for groups in certain areas.
Either way, thank you kindly for this update.

Re: A much needed thanks.
i can agree with all that was stated above. i also just want to say thank you to you, because you're one of the reasons I kept coming back this time around. And thank *you* For making me feel like an even bigger softy than I already do. Excuse me while I go buy a dress. Nah but for real, I'm glad I...

A much needed thanks.
Hi, everybody. I don't exactly know what to say here, so i'm just going to ramble a little bit, like i'm prone to do IC. So, hold onto your pants. So, as I'm sure it's been for a lot of folks, life has been an absolute roller coaster ride for me and mine over the past few weeks. There's a lot of str...

Re: Cache of questions
I just wanted to say-- Wow, thank you so much for the responses! I mean, especially about the isles. Zeldryn's a super islandy guy, so knowing that I've been sort of portraying them semi-accurately throughout the length of my rambly Parron-ing gives me a pretty significant degree of comfort. All of ...

Re: Cache of questions
*joins the resurrection circle* Wow. I really, really, really love this thread right now. I'm sure I can think up a few questions. 1. Is there any form of reliable communication between the inside and outside of the quarantine? More specifically-- Is there a semi-dependable network of postage courie...

Re: Chit Chat and Debates
It was a super, super great time last night. All of the RP, too, not just de debates and subsequent discussions. Really, just everything in general has been fantastic the past few weeks. It's been a nice way to pass the time given all of the RL craziness. Thank you all for being who you are, and ple...

Re: Age bracket update possibility?
Oh, yeah. For the record, i'm also totally cool with the concept of aging. I think this is an amazing idea which I whole-heartedly support. ..Maybe one day this means I can log in 30 years from now and experience the glory that is Old Man Zeldryn. Swinging his cane at all of the neighborhood kids, t...

Re: Age bracket update possibility?
The age categories are a topic of curiosity to me. So many "young" and "youthful" characters running around, when "mature" and "adult" are the options which follow. I've seen folks refer to someone as "young" being 20, which makes little sense to me...

Re: The Masterful Conundrum
The Artisans may have to get together and do what Locksmiths do already: set some standard prices and shun/beat the crap out of anyone who doesn't play along with them. Personally, I love this idea. A grand "Gathering of the artisans" so to speak, that brings together all who practice the...

Re: The Masterful Conundrum
Hey, look, other people that were thinking about this. Neat! Thanks for thinking about this, guys! I was kind of thinking I was crazy for a while there. Anyway. I can't say much from the crafter's side, because I don't have much experience with the forging system, old or new. I've got a lot of thoug...

Re: Enhanced Grappling: Wrasslin' Edition
It was my impression that there was originally meant to be further depth given to the grapple command in some regard, making it a more complex system overall. But my understanding as of currently is that that particular project was set aside in favor of something else as a result of mixed feedback a...

The first Octum Ghost sighting
Fausta grins at Zoe. a mangy brown hound heads south. (Zoe walks over to zeldryn and tilts her flask over him.) (Zeldryn just opens his mouth, tips his head back, and uses one of the eyes of the ghost costume to drink as much as he can as it soaks him.) Zoe exclaims, "Here lies ghosty number 3,...

Re: High risk leather: Distinct features
+1. I like the idea of this, too. Us fashionable folks always like something new to prance around in, really. Snakeskin, croc skin, basilisk skin, shardling pelts, Lizardskin, etc. always struck me as the sort of thing that would hold a pretty distinctive appearance, even after the curing process st...

Hi guys! First, I'm sorry I kept pushing this back until now. RL can be crazy sometimes, and that's all I can really say about that. Re: Character Voice!
First-- Thanks for the compliments guys! :D I love the speech settings. I like to think of Zeldryn as having a bit of a cockney drawl. For the most part, he makes a conscious effort to try and mask his accent, but in his more passionate (and drunken) moments, it comes out in force. It's why he tends...
