Re: Mining and challenge/skillgain
I like the idea of some stones and gems being more challenging. I was exploring the wilderness for other metals, and I started to think about how fun it would be if there were gem mining spots scattered and hidden around. There are already quite a few small caves tucked away out there, some even ...

Re: Yet Another Metalworking Rework
I'm a bit confused by this bit in the main post: "Anyone can poke around with a few basic metalworking recipes, and get up to a small amount of skill with them. Forging ingots out of blooms is a good way to start. Further groups of recipes are unlocked via ability points..."

Gender neutral character options
I'd like some, if possible. While just the return of COGG's option would be welcome, I would also specifically like to request an option using they/them pronouns. I think this would have broader appeal as neopronouns aren't widely used even among non-binary folks; it's an option for a minority of a ...

Re: The name command obsolete?
It probably wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but I do enjoy not seeing character names in MUDs unless you've been introduced. It's an extra layer between IC and OOC and helps me keep track of who I've actually met and interacted with enough to note down a name. And of course, it adds the whole layer of ...

Re: Signing Promisory notes
I would like to mail signed checks. I support this.
I mentioned this earlier in ooc, but I'll add it here since it's related and so Rias can see it. Letting companies set up a bank account that members can pay into with deposits logged would also be kinda cool and useful for this sort of situation ...

Re: Answers to some Clok revival FAQs
I'm all for guilds having more goals, lore, and objectives. I personally don't see anything wrong with joining one because you think the mechanics look fun, either, so long as you're also roleplaying within the guild's themes; it is a game, after all. But I think the quizzes will go a long way ...

Re: Answers to some Clok revival FAQs
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe someone mentioned in OOC a while back that currently they're all being considered for open enrollment when they open to new members. You may have to pass a multiple choice quiz given by the recruiter NPC to make sure you understand the theme elements of the ...

Re: Undocumented Stealth and Perception Changes
I submitted one of the bug reports that got a note back. Mine was about about being able to spam "stalk" on the same target over and over to get stealth gains with little risk. Mobs of the difficulty I was training would only very rarely get suspicious, so I figured it probably wasn't working as ...

Re: Answers to some Clok revival FAQs
I'm glad you think the inscribed gem idea is neat! I'd definitely go down an arcane crafting ability path if one was available to make such things along with wands/gylphstones.

Re: Answers to some Clok revival FAQs
I'm pretty new and don't intend to play a crafter, so perhaps take my opinions with a grain of salt... but I think these changes all sound fantastic!

Re: Skill Gains Awarded Upon Death of Target
I am ignorant as to how others train. Is that a thing that happens often? The system proposed seems as if it may make it difficult to train things like aeromancy and hydromancy at low amounts. How would it deal with interrupted combat such as hitting and running with stealth?
