Re: potential idea. more descriptions for our characters

i would absolutely love this! The option for freckles would also be amazing, as well as the Fasa tattoos which are currently not available.
Thanks for posting this, Ninetales.

Re: improvised Shield use

I love this idea really really a lot. Please make this a thing. I'd be less grumpy if my not really a hand using marauder could have more options if I can't come up with dodge ideas.

Info On Porto D'esilio?

Hey guys!
Firstly, please smite me kindly if I've posted this in the wrong forum, but I'm very much always overwhelmed at the BBS in general. That being said.....
I was wondering what information was available regarding Porto. I've (tentatively), poked at the Cogg forums, but admittedly it's a lot ...

Re: Rented rooms update!

For those to choose to coexist, (couples, friends, potatoes, etc,) would there be a consideration for additional floor space? Maybe 100, 150? Something that can be split more evenly due to furniture and ideally for keeping a stand of armor, one for each other. If not, can this please please please ...

Re: Balancing Tumble

If I was tech savvy with this newfangled BBS thing, I'd quote your post, Rias. But thank you for giving that a test and seeing how it was going. Ten minutes for one tumbly, flippy, whippy mob is possibly about a few mobs' worth if you just avoid them entirely. Also agree, #MarauderForLife

Re: Balancing Tumble

I'm not opposed to seeing things tweaked with a bit because it really is frustrating trying to fight something for ten minutes, rolling above them, and still getting curb stomped because of it. My marauder is obviously not a tumbler, but also wears light armor for now, and dodge is something that is ...

Re: The Knights Templar in CLOK: Reawakened

I'm thankful for this post.
I understand that we could gather riln as long as it is for an explicit purpose. But I came around in 2020 when that wasn't an option, and suddenly having to farm riln for repairs of arms/armor/food/healing feels outside of the scope of the code. I know of a templar who ...

I really appreciate and love all the responses! I know that when I decided to post something, I wasn't sure what response I would get. I'm grateful to the kindness that we offer to each other, and I hope this serves as a reassurance to those players feeling a bit out of the loop.

We're sadly going to have to postpone this, folks. Both our schedules have been massively wonky with real life shennanigans, but we definitely still want to put this on! A new date and time will be posted soon!

Some Thoughts On Character Interaction

As we all play together in Clok's world, it's easy to get swept up in our own storylines, creating and living through experiences independent of others. That's part of what makes the game so immersive. However, it's been brought to my attention that some players are struggling to feel included in ...

Nothing like some sibling bullying to remind you there's no place like home..... right?

Zeldryn walks over to Safiyah and simply sits on her.
Violetta nods.
Zeldryn sits down.
The sense of supernatural courage fades, leaving you feeling slightly timid for a moment.

Re: Metaprefix Thought

I'd even be fine if it was caught in the all buffer. I could try to make it work so I'd check it more often. But I think my option is to just disable rumors or try to keep my groups stuff smaller so I can catch every single thing.

Re: Metaprefix Thought

I'm still really hoping we are able to get some sort of meta prefix that allows us to catch emotes and says sent by staff. It's super helpful if you just happen to be blind and do not catch it among the other things happening or the room, or skipping over it when you think it's a rumor/miscellaneous ...

Re: On Alternative Factions, CvC, and Evil Characters

But you *don't* get kicked out for punching people in the face. I've seen plenty of people whose characters are short tempered punch someone in town and not get banished. It doesn't work like that. Endangering the town, or its people, being a hazard/repeat murderer of people in the town that becomes ...

Re: On Alternative Factions, CvC, and Evil Characters

If you've reached the point where you've gotten yourself kicked out, and I can promise that I've seen cases of people working their way steadily up to it, chances are you deserved it. I've seen NPCs warn, post, and do everything except downright shoot a person, and no remorse equalled banishment ...

Metaprefix Thought

Hey there!,
I was wondering if it would be possible to add some sort of MPF or some sort of indication of GM emotes? I am not certain if sighted players are able to distinguish room emotes from regular lines of text, but sometimes I as a VI player miss them because I happened to jump over it hen ...

This is Not a Drill

Some small(ish) wood projects require a drill and none are currently being sold in the general store in Shadgard. We have saws, chisels, hammers, endless nails, and a handful of other helpful things. Could we please get copper drills added, especially since it seems artisans cannot make them?

Two things!

I think the templar are going a little too hard. They didn't understand the assignment. I'm sorry, lil buddy.

A spectral watcher floats northwest.

Re: On the horizon: Ability Trees, Class Specializations, and Guilds

I imagine duelists are a bit too flashy, as mentioned above. Thematically, if a templar was showing off like that, we'd give them the side eye. If I also understood correctly, dodging won't always be a viable way to guard in the future, which honestly, fair.
I think dread would be lovely as an ...
