Re: Gathering Spots!
The roasting Pit might not be a bad idea. With haiben and mistral inaccessible, that location defaults to the last bit of civilization one can get to in that area. It also holds the Wyrvardns, and I'm just a sucker for kebabs. The Mummer's camp maybe? It gets used common enough for events, performan...

Re: Could we get some trainers back, please?
I'm not entirely sure if I just can't find them at all in Shadgard, but after the latest update of trainers, there seems to be some missing in the starter area. Was trying to help a friend get a char concept started, but noticed there wasn't any hurled weapon trainers. Also noticed that crossbow and...

Re: Weight encumbrance now affects rerolls rather than die sides
I was not expecting to have block rerolls drop to -0.5 at enc 2. Maybe dodge starts dipping that low, but this does make wearing heavier loadouts far too impractical. There's already an armor use check that penalizes people using armor if they fail it. Maybe worn armor and wielded gear should be exc...

Re: Yet Another Metalworking Rework
Right, I still have the old blacksmithing abilities taking up slots. So still unable to do much else other than smelt bronze ingots. Curious if those deprecated abilities can be removed from people's sheets, or can be converted. Also, I have noticed something with the smithing categories. The forgin...

Re: Rumors of Purpose
I'm excited to see what small hints and changes will be going on whle things reveal themselves to everyone. And right, also excited on how players can contribute for the carpet rollout. I am curious what's meant by a controlled population ratio wise? I know with part of that post, we want to prevent...

Re: Don't Forget
I've already decided to try out something new with the game coming back up with some friends. Also did want to join the udemi on one character. Always seemed like it had the potential to be fun as a group of Ranger military types. Also to use bows more. Also having an easier tiem getting Arti's expe...

Carving Pumpkins at the Shattered Pumpkin
An orange sheet of paper cut into the form of a pumpkin dangles off a nail upon Mistral's board. A Dark-furred cat drawn on the bottom right corner sits next to a message: Carving Pumpkins at the Shattered Pumpkin Come down to the Shattered Pumpkin on Octum 4th. Grab a pumpkin, grab a knife. Maybe a...

Re: Riding Skill Influencing horse Stats
oh, if they're not supposed to gain stats at all, I guess the suggestion is a moot request then. Though, is there a reason why their base skills outside of Perception are so low? Considering the rolls I remember them having on purchase, they seem barely as capable as Ebon pass Scavengers.

Riding Skill Influencing horse Stats
Hello! I wanted to get some input on this idea. Horses tend to be extremely slow on raising up their stats for their combat maneuvers. For Dodge's case, non-existent. Horses also have a habit of vanishing off into the code sometimes, meaning a person has to start over working on their skills. So, ra...

Separate public boards at marketplaces
Just because it feels weird advertising stuff on the main gossip boards around a town, can we have a board placed in the markets of each town meant for general advertisements, special sale offers, provided services and other such spam. There is a bit of a stigma to be clogging up the main boards wit...

Re: Making combat restraint available to everyone
The question would be if people would agree to use combat restraint before anything happens. The problem is that recent cvc interactions usually have people ambush or surprise attacking people from out of nowhere. Little interaction before the start, just a surprise trample, or crossbow bolt from st...

So, how should our characters react to this? Do we wait on the Ic announcement through letters and the board?

*web swings in* As one of the characters used for a Gm plot, and taking up the torch of one who slaughters a lot, I feel as if I should respond to this topic. Re: Additional Weapon Specialization Abilities, with examples
For two handed weapons, we at this point might need to consider a tactics for the fighting style, as tactics: guardian has for weapon/shield users. (though tactics Guardian really needs its auto shove feature fixed at some point). unless you're playing as a dwaeden Wyr, two handed weapons are just b...

Tumbling in Moderate mithril
A thought for those who'd want to invest or make mithril brigandine and chainnmail. Unless there are other considerations that prevent one from properly tumbling in those armors, mithril is generally considered the lightest of the metals, with armors and weapons barely weighing anything. As the weig...

Opening legendary Quality items for Special Events
So, a discussion on chat did bring up a point about the legendary item system. They basically just feel like super masterworks, with the small increases to accuracy/protection and infinite durability. However, someone once brought up the intention that legendary quality items would be capable of doi...

Re: More ways for complaining artisans to make riln
Probably just making the current mining experience a lot more physically painful and have less of a yield for the rare stuff might do it perhaps. Having to pay for folks to clear out resen infestations from cave worm tunnels or a shiny dracolin would already spread the horded wealth throughout the p...

Re: More ways for complaining artisans to make riln
*puts up flame shield* Another thing that might help is having the artisans actually rely on their namesake sister branch of mercenaries and other players to spend riln on guard services and cleanup. One thing that might help is to bring up the more deadlier combat situations in mines. I've seen the...

What makes a Good Antagonist?
basically the subject. What makes a character into a memorable antagonist? I wasn't really around for the time in Clok where antagonistic folk who weren't just trolls marched across the lost lands. I'm not sure of the type of plots that were ran that really made people go "Well, I'm peacing out...
