Re: Make all small sheathes closable by default.

The difference in daggers and holsters is that people typically reached for their dagger in the event of losing their primary weapon to pull it free immediately, in a single motion, to immediately have it at their demand. They didn't fumble with a clasp before pulling it out, as that would have very...

Re: Make all small sheathes closable by default.

Because it very well could be intrinsically designed this way. A lot of dagger sheathes in CLOK's setting could very well not be designed with such clasps, as a dagger is truly meant to be either a tool or a last ditch weapon in most cases in fencing. (This applies to fighting with a longsword, or e...

Re: Campfire Burntime

Many thanks Jirato! I'll be sure to put it to use in the near future, as I do quite enjoy building a campfire (even when it isn't cold), it was just a rather.. tedious effort given that the initial burntime was so minimal. Six minutes makes it considerably more manageable and I'm glad to see it happ...

Re: Campfire Burntime

Ah, yes, I don't necessarily mean the burntime of existing things, although I do consider them quite low as it can take some amount of luck to even come across a deadwood log. Some people don't wish to fell a tree in order to start up a campfire (and my own personal experience as a scout can tell yo...

Re: Item Weights

Having recently made a greatcloak and seeing it took 14 pelts to do so, I didn't think it would literally translate to a fourteen pound greatcloak when I had finished with it. After hefting the greatcloak a few times, you figure it weighs 15 pounds. Hoo boy. That thing weighs almost as much as a pla...

Re: Campfire Burntime

I'm aware that it's possible to do that, albeit cumbersome. I'm more concerned for all the command spammage and an suggesting something for ease of use. And I do know of deadwood logs, but we're talking on an RNG basis there. One player and myself foraged for a good half minute and found one, which ...

Campfire Burntime

So, I was roleplaying with somebody just earlier, and it really hit me.. what with it being freezing. Campfires really don't burn for very long at all before more fuel needs to be added to keep it going, so this can be somewhat troublesome when you're looking to roleplay with people without needing ...

I had fun last night. You can certainly expect plenty more in the coming future, as I'm not going anywhere.

Thanks to all who showed up for the fun.

Re: Hafted holders?

Oh god yes please. I didn't even realize until recently that there weren't any haft-frogs. That said, I haven't attempted to use any of the other sheathes to hold a hafted weapon, as they don't really make much sense to use. That said, it would be nice to see more things in general for leatherworkin...
