All animals should now retain their names when turned into fur. Exceptions will be small rodents, where I imagine it would be difficult if not impossible to tell what kind of fur it is.

Please bug any strangness or ones that don't work.

Just FYI: anything sharp, shiny, polished or similar will not work, since it doesn't make sense to have a battered polished sword or whatever.

Just wanted to point out that the game does tell you when you're energy level changes to a new discrete level. It just doesn't say what exactly that level is.

I did, and I realize that there is still a bug, however seeing as it does work to specify the quality of the herb, it's not a huge priority to fix right now.

Sales carts are going to go away, to be replaced by consignment stores in the major cities, which is why I haven't changed them (I completely agree they shouldn't be rickety).

For future reference, I'm usually the one adding these and it's much easier for me to remember if you bug them. Make sure you put tone/speech in the bug so I can search for them. I generally do a batch at a time, so expect it to be randomly added without announcement.
