Bear Strength and Hurling.

I think it would make sense for Bear strength to work with Hurling large weapons, such as polearms. I've never personally hurled a spear, but I assume you need a bit of strength involved. Add too it the fact that your hurling a spear with the strength of Bear, some improved damage results seem plaus...

Re: Teek's tales.

Citisday, 31th of Julium, 1216. Made contact with a fella who was able to share some for in site into what is going on with these Mistral Rebels. None of it good. Desperation, a feeling I am growing ever more familiar with, has made them desperate enough to...do something incredibly stupid. Even in ...

Re: Teek's tales.

Citisday, 30th of Julium, 1216. Violence. Why is it that creatures of Violence only understand or respect Violence. I try to..do my Duty. Keep the peace, protect the people. Lessons taught to me by better men, better woman, then I am. And yet, it is not enough. Despite my efforts, despite everything...

Re: Teek's tales.

Citisday, 30th of Julium, 1216. Sitting here in this way station, keeping an eye out for trouble, chatting up the sentry fellas. Seems like Mistral is getting it's share of trouble. While a bit far removed from Shadgard I did tell Captain Alvy I aim to keep an eye on the town. With them taking over ...

Re: Teek's tales.

Kingsday, 18th of Julium, 1216. So, folks are saying I'm a bit too wound up and grumpy, and that I need to take up something to relax my mind. Though I would surely like to just bury my troubles with a bottle of whiskey, I'm obligated to try and find a productive means to do so. A druid told me she ...

Teek's tales.

Heya folks. Since I have a bit of time these days, I figures I'll use this spot as a place to share some stories. It'll be a combination of his own personal entries, and the more formal entries he will record in the book of honor. There are so many untold stories happening in Clok, I figure Teek's t...

Re: Cache of questions

I know I'm necroing an old thread, but I have questions! First off, is Jirato the lore guy now? If so let him come forth! I just wanna know How long firearms have been around. I assume they came from Grimand spread, bbut Ijust how recent a recent invention is. Also, are cannons a thing? I assumed we...

Re: Dwaedn Wyr and ranged weapon usage?

I can see them making use of bows or maybe hurling spears. Primitive ranged weapons and such if they really felt the need to.

Re: Personal thoughts on the Wyrvardn

Apparently the ambiguity is a feature! While I'm not a fan of it, I guess it's something that is just part of the world. Because that's all a paranoid character needs...to be more Paranoid :/

Re: Personal thoughts on the Wyrvardn

I find that a bit disheartening honestly. That is like joining a team, or a sports club, and saying "But don't get mad if they decide to score against you." We should be on the same team, pursuing the same goals. Yes, there can be many different ways to accomplish that goal..but there shou...

Re: The Bandit Fort Crusade!

I don't look at it as something "I" want them to do. Going in and storming a Bandit Fort does not benefit me as a player, or Teek as a character. I look at it as something people should want to do for themselves. As a character. As a person living in the Lost Lands with the ability to effe...

Re: Personal thoughts on the Wyrvardn

In some tabletop games factions/guilds/groups are further broken down into smaller camps. Each camp has it's own thoughts/agenda and methods of reaching their goals. I feel forming your own camp of like minded Wyrvardin would be better than imposing upon the entire group. That would work...if there...

Personal thoughts on the Wyrvardn

I've played a Wyrvardn for a good bit now, and have come to a number of conclusions while playing it that make me feel that The Wyrvardn order is...well. I don't want to say useless, because the do provide a service. But, there is something missing. Keep in mind that following is viewed through the ...

Re: The Bandit Fort Crusade!

People tend to only follow people that they like. If Alexander were to spearhead this, he would easily have a following without a doubt. I'm not saying that you're wrong in this Teek, merely that political relations is an important part of gaining the aide of others. Another good point. Teek does n...

Re: The Bandit Fort Crusade!

Lots of ranting. You know, I haven't played in a while, but I can tell you that from what I've just read, you have the wrong perspective for enjoying the game. You make it sound as though the only thing that will make you enjoy playing with other characters is to have everyone approve and support y...

Gralkik is now in charge of the careful planning and preparation of this whole thing. Or Ambrose. Or Zeel. Or anyone who wants it.

I'll shell out the coin, as promised.

Re: The Bandit Fort Crusade!

It's more a total character issue, magnified by this situation. Anything Teek does is scrutinized and criticized. Maybe it's part of being a Wyrvardn. At the end of the day, I wanted Teek to be able to try and make the lost lands a better place. It's become quite clear to me that players do NOT want...

Re: The Bandit Fort Crusade!

Well, at this time I've had 2 people IC confirm interest in clearing the fort...a monk, and a hippy druid. The response to the idea in general seems muted at best, and outright hostile at worst. Frankly, if that's how it is, you guys can figure it out yourselves. I try to spread put together somethi...

The Bandit Fort Crusade!

Here is the deal folks. I'm organizing a group to go out and help clear the Bandit Fort in Ebon pass. I want YOU to join the Honeypot crusade! Service guarantees payment. Would you like to know more? OF COURSE YOU DO. I'm looking for bodies. Also, skilled bodies. But even if you combat skills are la...

Re: The Mine

I think the answer is simple, and the need for argument is unnecessary. CLOK is a game. Why do people play? To have fun. Maybe not EVERYONE, but I think the majority play to have fun, enjoy themselves, etc. MOST people I know do not find it fun to lose. I myself like the idea of Dunwyr, but lets be ...

Re: Is your character religious?

Ever since I had a conversation with Maric, I've pondering if Teek is religious at all. I try to do my best in making sure his background is a bit realistic considering his culture. With all that said, I don't think Teek is overly religious. I mean, he respects folks who are religious, but for him, ...

Re: Written Stories & Tales

Teek quickly brushed past the fancy Hillfolk combing his hair in the Tavern, his armor clanking as he beelined straight to the bar. Unconsciously, he rubbed his bald head and let out a grumble. Instead he stroked at his glorious walrus mustache. While he might not have a fancy head of hair, few coul...

Shoutout to Maric

For turning a simple question about a statue into something that has Teek thinking about things he never would have pondered, and for letting me take a peek at your armory of goods. Good times!

Re: Written Stories & Tales

Hmm. Well, Plenty of Wyrvardn lore I'd be interested in hearing. Maybe a short story about one of Semut and one of his relic hunts?
